Taffy | |
She's a singer. She's a songwriter. She's Lu-Lu's grand-niece. And now she's the Rugrats new babysitter!
She's the lead singer in the band "The Saltwaters". She always has a song to sing for the babies.
Her singing career needs a "little" work. But the Rugrats think she's the "bestest" singer and babysitter ever!
She loves her babies, that she sweetly refers to as her "minis".
Did I mention she's a little clumsy?
Whether Taffy takes the Rugrats to a basketball game, a restaurant, the park, or even an arcade, you can guarantee there are lots of new adventures in store!
So who really is Taffy? Taffy's voice is done by Amanda Bynes, star of "The Amanda Show" and co-star from the original cast of "All That". Both of which were on Nickelodeon..
So what happened to Taffy?
Unfortunately I can't say. She was only featured in a few episodes, and pretty much vanished. I was really looking forward to seeing more Rugrats episodes with her in it. It gave the Rugrats episodes a little extra twist, and for a cartoon teenager, she is pretty cute. ;-) But the Rugrats episodes ended quickly after her debut, and now the Rugrats are too "grown up" for a babysitter. There was a rumor that she might make some sort of appearance in All Grown Up. But that has proven false. Oh well. We'll miss you Taffy. Best of luck in your music career! :-)
Taffy will return! (Update for 2005)
It's been said that Taffy will return in the upcoming new DVD releases of Rugrats: Tales From the Crib. :-) |
